Ruth's Art classes at our Dementia Day Group have been amazing for both clients and the staff.Her method of teaching and guiding allowsour clients to participate and enjoy painting and drawing. Allof the clients really enjoy the classes and it gives them an opportunity to work on a piece of art of their own and they are very proud with the finished painting.

Ruth has been our resident art teacher at Chesalon Day Centre for 18 months. I particularly like the way she enables the clients to have the confidence in drawing by breaking it down for them and going at their pace and speed so as not to make them feel like they can not do it.Our clients are blown away when they have completed a piece of work and have been known to say " did I really do That"thinking that they are not initially capable but because of Ruth's patience and teaching techniques they are able to produce some fabulous pieces of Art. This year we have had them copied and have them turned into personalized cards which have been amazing.

I would recommend Ruth and have done to others as the clients really do enjoy working with her and so do we.
